From what is perceived to what is felt, I intertwine sculpture, painting, video and photography, allowing fluidity to emerge between humans and more-than-humans, objects and territories. I seek to recreate sensitive contexts where time and space are perceived as non-linear, as living matter that makes coexistence possible.

My research focuses on what I call “extra bodies”, a notion borrowed from cinema that refers to what appears in the background, never fully identified, always at the margins of the main characters. My creative process, made of writing, drawing, readings and analysis, has become a way to move beyond states of anonymity and further explore forms of reciprocity and live collaboration.

In sculpture, each element, turned wood, bent copper, burnt brass, carries an incomplete narrative and condenses a set of sensations: the smell of extinguished fire, the softness of oak, the crash of wind. Similarly, my videos evoke perceptual experiences where bodies become entangled within artificial temporalities, bringing past and future, presence and disappearance into relation.

The distance I maintain from objects, territories and living beings, all bodies in a broader sense, allows intentionalities beyond my own to emerge. These off-centered meeting points reveal tensions within relations, while the difficulty of articulating what takes place between them leaves language elliptical and fragmentary, forming an atmospheric dramaturgy shaped by elements such as light, temperature and touch.
